I care because small businesses and strong small businesses are the basis of a true democracy. Imagine having a big conglomerate employing everyone and paying for everything at a local - who would the power sway to? Plus, most of us aren't trying to conquer the world, we're just trying to take care of our family and so on, and that matters.
For so long technology and promotional media have belonged to the big corporations, we have had no way to compete. However now it is all changed and different.
I don't want to build an app and leave it there forever and retire rich - that's not what I want. I want to build homes for people, digital homes for people that are websites that really work, and a media platform for each of them so that they can function independently and truly move towards a better world for everyone.
